I have a country morning show that is currently for sale and would be very interested in talking with you about the opportunities with your company. I have recently teamed up with someone to start doing podcasts. We can discuss me coming as a solo or us as a team. That depends on what you're looking for and your budget. The rest of this letter will be talking about us as a team.
The content of our show is all about the target audience. We do a lifestyle based show with women in mind. Over the course of 20 years primarily spent in female oriented formats, I've come to understand how to relate to that demographic and give them the content they care about. Anna IS the target and a great sounding board. We will keep it family friendly on the air while I give them just a hint of "bad boy". We will use the internet for the more adult oriented content so they aren't surprised by it and can listen when the kids aren't around. This approach gives the target audience a chance to opt out of that content if they don't want to hear it but also gives it to the members that enjoy it.
We are very involved in the community as well. I will continue to belong to several organizations like the American Legion and we will be out "pressing the flesh" as often as we can. I'm a firm believer that the show with the most friends wins and we won't miss a chance to make friends with listeners, advertisers, and community leaders.
Here is a link to an article in Nashville Music Guide magazine in which I was featured:
