Name Devin Higgins
About Since 2007, I have been involved in the media through both radio and print, with a specialty in sports journalism.
I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts/Journalism from Pacific University - Oregon, while working three jobs as Sports Editor of the Pacific Index, doing play-by-play broadcasting as "The Voice of Pacific University Sports", and also at ESPN Sportsradio 1080 "The FAN" in Portland, Oregon.

I started at the FAN as an intern in January 2007 and worked my way up to a producer, broadcaster, and field reporter during my tenure.

I also have been heavily involved in the world of Podcasting since 2005, hosting my sports podcast "The All Out Blitz", as well as a new show "Fight/Item/Run" since September, 2010.

As of December 2010, I became the play-by-play broadcaster of Linfield College's men's and women's basketball games, calling all home and road games for the Wildcats Sports Network.

My goal is to be the next great sports journalist, and I will not stop working until I get there. I believe my work ethic, drive, and dedication to my craft will get me to where I want to be.

In a perfect world, I'll be working for ESPN or having my own syndicated radio show in five years, or I'll be part of a magazine or network covering sports in a major market.
