Name Nina Santos (NinaRawz)
About Nina Rawz started her career in radio in 2005 as a promotions intern at Regent Broadcasting, 93.7 WBLK in Buffalo, NY. She found spare time to learn the programing side on Mike Chaz night show, then given the opportunity to audition for the overnight slot after inquiring about further advancement with Program Director Chris Reynolds. Rawz enthusiasm impressed her audience and bosses, and she was hired.

Rawz ambition soon led to her own weekend overnight show, Overnite Ryde 2a-6a EST but there still was more she yearned to learn. After three years on air, Rawz relocated to the Gulf Coast, Mobile, AL where she found herself unfortunately starting all the way over. She began volunteering at Cumulus, 93BLX, KJs Play House as the host of The Play House Paparazzi Report, where she honed her gift of gab and gave the South some New York flavor and juicy gossip. She then became known as one-third of the Play House Trio consisting of KJ and Black Tee and was hired on with Cumulus. After only two years on 93 BLX, Rawz was recognized by Real Talk Magazine and was widely regarded as the most controversial and entertaining urban female host on the Gulf Coast.

After several changes in the company, The Playhouse was taken off the air and Rawz continued to work for Cumulus as a Remote Tech and Production Assistant for the four-station cluster, 93 WBLX, 104.1 WDLT, 97.5 WABD and 660/900 WGOK. In 2013, Rawz began highlighting unsigned artists on her show The Underground, Sundays 5p-9p CST. She focused on creating a platform for underground musicians and DJs by a featuring a weekly artist to interview and a featured monthly DJ for The Underground MiniMix. The Underground consisted of other show features such as Rawzyology 101 Music Business Tips, The Cypher Lyrical Battle and The Hot Underground Countdown. In 2015, Rawz began hosting The Morning After Saturdays 9a-2p.

The Underground was a success in the local music community and Rawz was recognized again by, Real Talk Magazine as the Queen on The Underground as well as the Kings and Queens of the Coast Music Awards Honorary achievement in late 2013. In 2015, Rawz was named Best Female Radio DJ, at the Alabama Music Awards in Birmingham, AL.
