Oldies/Classic Rock Jock Seeking Air Talent or Board Operator Gig
Sine 1972 I've had something going on in radio. From volunteering overnights as the host of a progessive rock program at a local college station in 1972, to my 1st commercial radio gig in 1978 and a return behind the mic after a long absence without a show of my own while I was raising my family from 1980 - 1996. During which time I earned a "Best of The Best award for a Safety Video I wrote, produced and directed for The US Postal Service in 1985.
In 1996,I pulled up my proverbial bootstraps and took the wheel at a small 3 station network in FL, working my way to a job as Traffic Reporter with mega-radio corporation Clear Channel from 2005 - 2006 when (Once again) I was forced to leave the vocation I was born to follow after moving too far from any radio station to justify the commute financially.
Today I am once again seeking to return to the only vocation I truly love as an Air Talent or Board Operator/Producer.
All I ask is a chance to prove myself as a positive, forward thinking talent who can increase the numbers of your stations' listeners as well as motivate your air staff with my jovial, positive attitude.
