Name Rex Anderson
About I'm a highly versatile actor with a strong background in the audio arts. I've put in thousands of hours into my craft to ensure our experience working together is swift and wholly satisfying.

I strive to achieve an absolute level of perfection on every project I bring my voice to. Over thousands of projects for hundreds of clients, I have a uniquely broad command of my voice. From the empathetic guy-next-door to the grave and gravelly authoritarian, there are very few tools missing from my toolbox.

As an audio engineer, I've worked on everything from death metal to hip-hop, learning the intricacies of mixing, mastering, and editing. As a musician, I've taught myself advanced guitar, bass, and vocal technique, excelling both as a live player and recording artist. As a theater actor, I honed my acting craft with some of Baltimore's finest talent, and most discerning audiences.

I possess an advanced degree in writing, providing me with a depth of comprehension and interpretation crucial to script delivery. I can also assist with copy writing if you so desire.

My voice has been described as: Warm. Calm. Versatile. Smooth. Relaxed. Caring. Raspy. Deep. Moving. Vulnerable. Sarcastic. Cerebral. Sonorous. Silly. Classic. I do impressions as well! Beyond the Morgan Freemans and Sam Elliotts that every VO artist needs in their kit, I can do a credible John C. Reilly, Christopher Walken, Mike Rowe, Wallace Shawn, William Shatner, Joey Lauren Adams (seriously), and many more. And my 'bad' impressions also make good characters!

From the barnyard to the monster manual, I love creating animal and monster voices. You've heard me on TV, the radio, the internet, in your favorite video games and podcasts, children's books, and possibly in a corporate internal, explainer, or awards show in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, India, China, and many other locales all over the world. Contact me today and let's make something great together!
